Today is international children’s day. According to Wikipedia: Children’s day was adopted from the former communist boc and is usually marked with speeches on children’s rights and well-being, children TV programs, parties, various activities involving or dedicated to children, families going out, etc. When I lived in Russia all special days (ie: children’s day, woman’s day, teachers day, etc) were celebrated amazingly and you were truly made to feel special.
