You up for a fun challenge that will have you cooking from scratch? save you some money? and use up all those items in the pantry and freezer that have been there for far too long?
At the Ecochick household we’re challenging ourselves to only spend $50 a week on food. So what will we eat and where will the rest of our food come from? Our food will come from items already in the house; in the pantry, freezer, garden, free items or items gifted to us by others.
So you up for the challenge of only spending $50 a week on food? Come join us.
All too often we run out of an item and just restock rather than using what is already in the cupboards and items get lost in the back of the pantry or bottom of the freezer. So now is the time to use all those times up.
I’m looking forward to this challenge we’ve set ourselves to get really creative, break out of the rut of eating the same foods, save some money and use all those yummy dried beans I have in the pantry. We’re planning on doing this challenge for as long as we can. It’ll be interesting to see how many weeks we can eat out of our home.
Will you join us? If you do I’d love to hear how you get on.
