Seaweed snack

I love seaweed it’s so yummy. I often eat it straight from the packet. It’s so yummy around sushi and fresh as a salad. I found a great recipe on the whole life nutrition kitchen. The first time I made this recipe John and I ate the whole lot in one go so we had to make another batch straight away; so now I make double batches. I have adapted the recipe to suit my taste buds. So yummy enjoy I promise you’ll want to make double batches as well. Also I have no idea how long these last (they don’t last a day around here) but I’m guessing several weeks.

Ingredients:

4 T rice brain oil
1 tsp sesame oil
4 tsp sesame seeds
Salt grinder
4 sheets nori

Method:

Cut the nori into squares. I use scissors to cut all four sheets at once.
Mix the rice bran oil, sesame oil and sesame seeds in a small bowl.
Thinly brush the oil mixture all over the nori squares. Then grind some salt onto each nori square.
Turn the squares over and repeat on the other side of the square so both sides are covered.
Put in the oven and bake at 180C for 15 minutes.
Store in an air tight container (if they last long enough to go in a container!). This is such a super yummy and really healthy snack. What’s your favourite snack?

Make these today, but my sesame seed burnt :( will have to try it again at a lower heat.
