Rainbow toy

John has a new toy. Actually I stole the idea from a friend but I don’t think she’ll mind. Basically the toy is a plastic ring that John was given at some stage and then ribbons of all the colours of the rainbow (well the rainbow song as according to Mr Ecochick there is no pink in the rainbow!). I went through my craft box and found I had most of the colours so I only had to buy 4 colours at a dollar each this is a pretty cheap toy. He likes the feel of the ribbon and also likes the bright colours. I figure it will be a great way to teach him different colours as well as sing with him.
Red and yellow and pink and green,
Purple and orange and blue,
I can sing a rainbow,
Sing a rainbow,
Sing a rainbow too!

Listen to your heart,
Listen to your heart,
And sing everything you feel,
I can sing a rainbow,
Sing a rainbow,
Sing a rainbow too

Alternative version (I didn’t know there was more than one way to sing this song – but then I didn’t know it had more than one verse either!):
Red and yellow and pink and green
Purple and orange and blue
I can sing a rainbow,
Sing a rainbow,
Sing a rainbow too.

Listen with your eyes,
Listen with your ears,
And sing everything you see,
I can sing a rainbow,
Sing a rainbow,
Sing along with me.

Red and yellow and pink and green,
Purple and orange and blue,
I can sing a rainbow,
Sing a rainbow,
Sing a rainbow too!
