I got this super cool table from freecycle.
As soon as I saw it I just knew what I wanted to do with it.
First I gave the table a good clean and took off the glass top.
I sprayed the whole table with my favourite white etching primer.
Now the table was nice and white again.
I went through my cloth stash
and found a wonderful fabric I bought on sale ages ago.
I drew around the glass top on the fabric and cut it out.
I sprayed the fabric and the tiles with spray adhesive.
I then smoothed the fabric onto the tiles.
I use my rotary cutter to trim the edges of the fabric
and the push the edges around the tiles.
I then put the glass top back on and put the table outside.
John thinks the table is great and it fits one of his chairs perfectly.
The morning after I bought the table home John pulled one of his chairs up to the table and demanded his breakfast at this new kiddie table.
Too cute!
The table looks so great outside next to our couch.
We love sitting on the deck on a nice sunny day having a drink.
I've wanted an outside table for ages and I'm so happy with the result.
Another fantastic spray project that was fun and so practical.
