I love this pack and also love that John now has his own tree that he can associate with when he is older. The pack comes with a lovely copper tag (actually I had to buy this one separately – it depends on where you buy it from if it comes with the pack or not) and also a very cool book that you can read to your children about their tree. You can even "register" your child's tree on the Birth to Earth website. Going to do that now. Exciting. I would totally recommend this pack and will be buying it again when we have another child (no not yet so don’t get too excited!)
Gosh he has grown up just gorgeous. We are going to plant Paytns soon as well have some nice wine barrels to cut in half. Just need to find that right tree.
ReplyDeleteAww thanks. I think he's pretty cute too. Has gone way to fast. I love that the tree is on our drive so will think of my little man everytime I walk/ drive past.
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to read about someone doing this. I've married a Maori...but a squeamish one - and he's a beat of a man too, which makes it funnier (to me). Our midwife must have asked 9 times if we were sure we didn't want to keep the placenta (looking at my husband again and again), and each time he answered quickly in the negative. When I birthed it the second time, I didn't notice, but she pointed out he had slumped down in his seat (where he was holding our new baby) and was shielding his eyes, looking green.
ReplyDeleteSee, your story's better. ;)
haha that's so funny! Thanks for sharing.
